Ivan Goncharov's Novels (part 1)
This lecture discusses the main features of a protagonist that was unique for the Russian prose and whom we find portrayed in Goncharov's novels. It also gives the analysis of Oblomov's Dream – a key episode from the most well-known work by this author.

Ivan Goncharov's Novels (part 2)
This lecture describes the author's personal attitudes as manifest in his novels, as well as the original themes treated in his writings, which far transcend the boundaries of just a description of Russian nobility's life in the middle of the 19th century.
