Hagiographic tradition and mythological beliefs in folk literature of the 20th century
Thematic and linguistic features of folk culture as represented in hagiography of the Russian North. A hagiographic Story of Father Nikolai (1999, Totma, Vologda Region) as an example of "naive" literature. Stylistic features of the text: hagiographic language, traditional written language and the "new language" of the Soviet times, motives of a miracle.
