The Literary World of Mikhail Lomonosov
This lecture is devoted to the works of Mikhail Lomonosov within the context of Russian culture reformation. The issue of Russian literature Europeanisation is focused on. Lomonosov's versatility is emphasised as well as the significance of his solemn ceremonial and spiritual odes. The harmony of Lomonosov's works is discussed as a most significant characteristic of his literary world. The Ode from the Book of Job and the Evening Meditation on the God's Grandeur are studied.
