The Classical Russian Novel Protagonists teaching materials based on the lectures by Professor Vladimir Markovich have been developed at the Faculty of Philology, St. Petersburg State University. The course is aimed at describing the complex process of development of a classical Russian novel protagonist type, the three principal literary works of the Golden Age of the Russian culture serving as examples.
The teaching materials for the course From "The Bronze Horseman" towards "The Captain's Daughter": The Late Works of Alexander Pushkin based on the lectures by Professor Vladimir Markovich have been developed at the Faculty of Philology, St. Petersburg State University. The course is aimed at creating a notion of Alexander Pushkin's historiosophical views of the 1830s on the basis of his two most significant works of that period, a narrative poem The Bronze Horseman and a short novel The Captain's Daughter.
