The Modern Russian Speech teaching materials based on the lectures by Professor Vladimir Kolesov have been developed at the Faculty of Philology, St. Petersburg State University. This course is primarily aimed at introducing to students the ongoing semantic, lexical, syntactic, and culturological processes of modern Russian speech, in the historical perspective.
